The MidWest Junior Golf Tour's mission is to provide affordable, highly competitive golf tournaments for junior golfers at premium golf courses in the Kansas City area.  The tour presents juniors the chance to showcase their talents and receive national recognition at a very reasonable cost.

 

Annual membership fees of $25.00 per golfer per year will be collected. Click on Membership Application to display a membership application that can be downloaded and mailed to MidWest Junior Golf Tour.

  

The Fall 2008 Schedule is available.  Please access the Tournaments tab to view and download entry applications.  A Membership Application and annual fees of $25.00 must accompany the tournament entries.

Siegel, Winslow, Byrne, and Beckler win Player-of-the-Year Honors for the Fall, 2008 Season

 

 

We would like to thank David Dunn, his staff, and the club patrons for a warm reception and enjoyable tournament 10/18 - 10/19 at Alvamar Golf Club in Lawrence, KS.  The course was in great shape and the weather finished nicely, although the players had to endure chilly temperatures for our 8:00 tee times both Saturday and Sunday.

 

Trey Siegel (Topeka, KS) led wire-to-wire to claim first place honors in the Boys 16-18 age division.  Blake Cynor (Leawood, KS) and Jacob Burkholder (Sedalia, MO) tied for second place. After a scorecard playoff, Blake took home the second place trophy with Jacob finishing in third.  Robert Neumann (Holt, MO) rounded out the trophies with fourth place.

 

There was a close race for player-of-the-year in the Boys 16-18 age division.  Trey Siegel edged out David Catt (Leawood, KS) to win the award with Robert Neumann close behind in third place.

 

Jackson Foth (Lake Quivira, KS), one of our Saturday medalists with an even-par, 72, finished with a one-under par, 143, to win first place in the Boys 14-15 age division.  Great job, Jackson!!  Joseph Winslow (Overland Park, KS), the other Saturday medalist with an even-par, 72, held on for the second place trophy.  Colby Yates (Tonganoxie, KS) shot consistent rounds of 77/75 to claim the third place trophy.  Trey Turley (Overland Park, KS) took home the fourth place trophy.  And, Logan Coffman (Lake Quivira, KS) won the fifth place trophy.

 

Joseph Winslow, with consistent play this fall, edged out Jackson Foth for player-of-the-year honors in the Boys 14-15 age division.

 

Patrick Byrne (Overland Park, KS) came from behind on Sunday to win the first place trophy in the Boys 12-13 age division.  Evan Shartzer (Overland Park, KS) finished in second place.  And, Cole Crooker (Overland Park, KS) took home the third place trophy.

 

Patrick Byrne edged out Austin Lowe (Kansas City, MO) for player-of-the-year honors in the Boys 12-13 age division.

 

Landon Weber (Madison, SD) led wire-to-wire in the Boys 10-11 age division to take home the first place trophy.  Andrew Beckler (Topeka, KS) won the second place trophy.  And, Preston Fleenor (Mission Hills, KS) and Tanner Owen (Parkville, MO) tied for third place.  After a scorecard playoff, Preston claimed the third place trophy with Tanner finishing in fourth place.

 

Andrew Beckler, with consistent play this fall, edged out Tanner Owen for player-of-the-year honors in the Boys 10-11 age division.
